The last few days have been absolutely relaxing, dreamy and full of adventures. It all started on Saturday, we arrived in Miami early in the morning and spent the entire day exploring this beautiful city. I haven't been in Miami for 4 years and was beyond excited to be here with Michael to show him around (he has never been here before), but more about Miami in the next post. On Sunday afternoon we headed to Key West. We couldn't even imagine how much we would love this gorgeous island. It feels like the place you always dreamed about and now your dream came true.
Monday was spent in the Dry Tortugas, it took us 2 hours to get there from Key West. It's one of those places that takes your breath away (all pictures in this post are from the Dry Tortugas), a tiny island surrounded by the most beautiful shades of blue I've ever seen. How can the water be so blue?! We first explored the massive fort and then spent the rest of the day snorkeling which was the most exciting part! We saw hundreds and hundreds of fish big and small, and I even tried to catch some of them, silly me. Being underwater myself, being able to see the captivating beauty of under the sea was an absolutely unforgettable experience considering that I only saw the underwater world on the Discovery channel. I'm so grateful for this experience! I have a bunch of other pictures I want to share with you but let's wait until next post. I hope you can feel the serenity of this beautiful place through the pictures.
