Coral Red

This beautiful trench coat is perhaps the brightest item in my wardrobe so far. It's funny how sometimes I think: "No way I'll be wearing this!" and then I try it on... and completely fell in love with the item. Does it ever happen to you? Thank you, Lulu's, for yet another gorgeous piece.

It's snowing today so I'm enjoying the snowflakes outside my window. They are just beautiful. xo

Cozy Sunday

Sunday was very casual in the best way possible: we cleaned the apartment, did the laundry and had sushi afterwards. We did some grocery shopping after that and headed to a friends house. The entire evening was spent there with lots of delicious food, hot tea and great laughs. I love such impromptu gatherings, somehow they happen to be the best. Hope you all had a great weekend, wishing you a successful week ahead! xo

Воскресенье было на удивление очень обычным и радостным одновременно: мы сделали уборку, стирку и отправились кушать суши. После чего закупили продукты в Whole Foods  и отправились в гости к друзьям. Весь вечер провели у них, было много домашней еды, чая и смеха. Я люблю, когда вот так неожиданно собираешься у друзей, почему-то такие внезапные визиты оказываются самыми добрыми и смешными. Надеюсь, что и ваши выходные прошли на отлично, успешной всем недели! хо

Keeping It Simple

Another one of my go-to outfits for those days when I have meetings, errands and dinners to go to without much time on my hands. The key is to look presentable yet comfortable. Когда на один день запланировано много дел, и нужно выглядеть уместно в любой обстановке, - в таких случаях я выбираю примерно вот такой наряд. Самое главное - выглядеть презентабельно, но в то же время комфортно. А как вы одеваетесь, когда много дел, но выглядеть нужно на все сто? Буду рада вашим подсказкам и идеям.

Layering Up

I love fall. Love the crisp morning air. Cozy sweaters and scarves. Love the delicious smell of hot chocolate on every corner. Love the whole holiday atmosphere and the Christmas decorations. I guess I could go on and on. I better go have some hot chocolate. Wishing you a wonderful weekend! xo

Я очень люблю осень. Люблю свежий утренний воздух. Уютные свитера и шарфы. Люблю манящий запах горячего шоколада на каждом углу. Вообще люблю праздничную атмосферу приближающихся праздников, которой пропитано всё вокруг, и рождественские декорации. Наверное, этот список можно продолжать если уж не до бесконечности, то очень долгое время. Пойду лучше сделаю горячий шоколад. Удачных вам выходных! хо

Black & White Minimalism

The weather forecast for this week is insanely amazing. And I mean ah-mazing! Gorgeous warm sunny days all week long. I even dared to wear a coat over mini skirt today which didn't look that ridiculous (well, I hope it didn't) - wearing my new Sheinside sweater, old faux leather H&M skirt, coat from Nordstrom and old sandals. So many of you have been asking about these sandals, they are quite old, I got them at a random store a few years ago and adjusted the stripes this summer. I think they look so much better this way.

By the way, I'm going to the gym today. I haven't been to the gym in years (3 years, oh wait 2 years) so I'm kinda excited :)

Погода на этой неделе сказочная - солнечно и тепло (+25С). Сегодня даже осмелилась носить юбку мини с пальто, что выглядело для местного климата вполне уместно (знаю, что в России подобное сочетание наверняка бы восприняли с недоумением). На мне новый Sheinside свитер, юбка H&М, пальто Nordstrom и сандалии. Многие спрашивали про эти сандалии, я их купила пару лет назад в каком-то случайном магазине, на них даже имени нет. Ho я их немножко пeределала - изменила расположение ремешков, мне кажется так они выглядят намного лучше.

Иду сегодня в спортзал. Не была в спортзале целую вечность, года два, наверное. Надеюсь, что мышцы не будут завтра болеть.
