Christmas time in NYC

Good morning, loves! I managed to go to NYC over the weekend and I'm so glad I did! Spent most of the time in the West Village, had the best hot chocolate at Cafe Minerva and a very delicious brunch at Jeffrey's Grocery (such a great place, highly recommend). On Sunday we went skiing (it was the third week in a row) and I can't wait until this weekend to be on the slopes again. I love that December surprised us with some early snow this year. You can't imagine how happy I get when it's snowing!.. xo 

Привет-привет! Как же я рада, что в выходные удалось съездить в Нью-Йорк. Нью-Йорк перед Рождеством просто сказочный! А когда идёт снег… Провела большую часть времени в West Village, ещё мне довелось попробовать самый вкусный горячий шоколад в Cafe Minerva. Очень понравился ресторанчик Jeffrey's Grocery, он небольшой и тесный (как впрочем большинство местных ресторанов), но там такая удивительная атмосфера, и ещё там очень-очень вкусно! Будете в Нью-Йорке - обязательно там побывайте. А ещё здорово, что декабрь порадовал ранним снегом в этом году. По какой-то причине, я становлюсь такой счастливой, когда идёт снег!.. хо

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you are spending this wonderful holiday with your loved ones. Michael and I had a lovely cozy dinner on Christmas Eve followed by couple of Christmas movies to watch. And can you believe it was snowing here on Christmas Eve?! An absolutely magical sight! As soon as I saw the snowflakes I ran outside to twirl in the snow :) Those of you who follow me on Instagram and Facebook, already know that we spent Sunday in NYC (which was amazing to say the least) and below are a few pictures from the trip.

The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

Shopping in Georgetown on Saturday night. I love how all the lights around create that wonderful feeling of magic. And we finally got our own Christmas tree which instantly created the atmosphere of winter holidays :)

В субботу весь вечер провели в Georgetown (район Вашингтона). Я как ребёнок радуюсь всем рождественским огонькам вокруг, от них создаётся ощущение сказки и волшебства. Ещё мы наконец-то купили ёлку - настоящую, до потолка :) Сразу появилось чувство надвигающихся зимних праздников :)

Isn't it wonderful waking up early on Christmas morning when it's dark outside, and everything is still and quiet because everybody is sleeping? Once you turn the lights on, you'll see all the sweets and presents that Santa left for you :)

At the Mall

Last night after watching several movies in a row, we decided to go to the mall which is very close to our house. It was 10 pm and the good thing about malls during this time of the year - they are open late :)
I'm planning to go for Christmas/New Year's shopping this afternoon, I have quite a big list of presents and other things to buy :) Oh, Christmas!!

Вчера вечером после просмотра нескольких фильмов подряд, мы решили отправится в молл в 10 часов вечера. Самое приятное, что моллы в это время года открыты допоздна :) Сегодня после обеда буду делать новогодне-рождественские покупки :)

Dinner at Sequoia

Last night we were at Sequoia restaurant (Washington, DC). It was a Christmas party with a lot of guests, delicious food and great music. This restaurant is located in such a beautiful place, and all those decorations and fountain made it look spectacular. Too bad I wasn't able to take whole bunch of pictures but at least you have an idea how it looked like :)
