Well That's the Way I Want It to Stay

It's amazing how one touch of red lipstick can transform an outfit. I've noticed that pairing neutral colored jackets/sweaters with the bright red lips works the best for me. And every time I wear red lipstick, I get a whole bunch of compliments from kind strangers on the streets which makes me blush sometimes :)

Hello, lovelies :) happy Monday to all of you!

I finally got to wear my leather pants I raved about in the previous post. Three words - I love them.

This past Saturday we started a holiday season with a lovely Christmas party in one of the DC's restaurants. I was so busy talking to people and eating dinner that I didn't take any pictures. Not a single one. Shame on me :D

В прошедшую субботу мы открыли надвигающийся праздничный сезон рождественской вечеринкой в одном из ресторанов Вашингтона. Было весело и шумно, за весь вечер я не сделала ни одной фотографии - была слишком занята разговорами и ужином :D Так что придётся вам поверить мне на слово, что всё было красиво :)

Sweet November

It's incredibly beautiful outside these days - plenty of sunshine and crisp air. I got all my mittens, scarves and hats out this weekend since we got first snow on Saturday :) I got to wear my mittens last night as Bunny and I were out. I know, I know - it's not that cold yet, but I just love my mittens and my hands are always cold even when it's not too cold outside. I sometimes wonder how did I manage to survive those winters with - 40C in my home country? Oh well, it's a story for another day :)

В последние дни на улице так красиво - очень солнечно, и воздух такой холодный. В эти выходные достала все свои варежки, шарфы и шапки. B субботу шёл снег, и я, наивная,  решила, что зима наступает :) Снег быстро растаял. А я вчера одевала варежки :) На самом деле здесь не так уж и холодно, чтобы сейчас в варежках ходить, но у меня руки всегда мёрзнут, даже когда на улице не холодно. Иногда задумываюсь - как я выживала морозы в минус 40 в России? Ума не приложу :) xo

Effortless Chic

I will never get tired of wearing stripes, blazers and red lipstick :) And my beloved Ray Ban aviators! 

I'm sitting home, drinking coffee and eating macarons, those lovely French cookies :) 

May be I'll manage to get myself outside to walk in the rain since sunny Friday changed to dramatically rainy Saturday :)

Hello! :) I've been so into red lips lately. The red lipstick makes me feel sexy and feminine. It makes other people turn their heads. Or may be it's just the spring :)

At The Harbor

What can be better than a beautiful warm day spent with your loved one? :) Bunny and I spent Sunday at the National Harbor (DC area). It was so gorgeous outside, and we just enjoyed walking around the waterfront area, goofing around and taking pictures. I think in spring and summer time this place will be so much fun with all the outside cafes and restaurants open!

Military Jacket

Yesterday's outfit, military jacket and red lips. I love red lipstick! Not on a regular basis though. But once in a while it's ok :) This shade is Chanel Rouge Allure 14 Passion. It makes people turn heads :D
