Late Season

Hello lovelies! While everyone was stocking up on supplies preparing for the storm yesterday, we headed to the farm to pick pumpkins and to cut some last flowers of the season. In case we lose power today, we can carve pumpkins in the candlelight :)

Those of you who are in the area affected by the storm, please stay safe. I really hope that it will not be as bad as expected.

В то время как все окружающие готовились к надвигающейся буре, скупая продукты, батарейки, воду и др. вещи необходимые в чрезвычайной ситуации, мы отправились на ферму за тыквами и цветами. Так что если сегодня у нас выключится свет, мы будем вырезать тыквы при свечах :)
Те из вас, кто находится в штатах, подверженных опасности, - будьте осторожны и берегите себя! Очень надеюсь, что надвигающийся шторм будет не таким страшным, каким его предсказывают.

Fall Flavors

I'm finally ready for fall. Ready for the rainy days, hot chocolate, crisp air, knits, pumpkins, apple picking and all the lovely things that fall has to offer. What are your favorite things about fall season? xo

Наконец-то могу себе честно признаться, что готова к осени. Готова к дождливым дням, горячему шоколаду, прохладному воздуху, вязаным вещам, тыквам, сбору яблок и всем другим радостям, что приносит с собой осень. А что вас заставляет улыбаться и радоваться в осенние дни?

Pumpkin Season

This past weekend I was at the lovely farm in Maryland to pick some fruit and vegetables. Everyone else was there to pick pumpkins :) I couldn't resist buying these little cute ones  to decorate the house. The little pumpkins took their place in the kitchen and brightened up the entire room :)

В эти выходные ездила на ферму в штате Мэриленд за овощами и фруктами. Я, наверное, одна туда явилась за овощами-фруктами, все остальные выбирали себе тыквы :) Большие тыквы решила не покупать (тащить их на себе до машины не хотелось), купила вот эти маленькие. Теперь они у меня на кухне лежат, такие маленькие, хорошенькие :)

1st of October

What would be a perfect thing to do on a cold rainy day? On such days I love staying home wearing a cozy sweater, having a hot tea with lemon and cookies and doing things I love - drawing, painting, reading magazines and looking at pictures taken in summer. Why do we always want fall when it's summer, and as soon as the cold weather and rain approach on the horizon, we want summer back? It's so funny that even few days ago I couldn't wait for the fall weather with rain and now, as I'm looking at the pictures of flowers, fruit and vegetables filled with warm sunshine, I so desperately want to go to a farm to pick some fresh peaches wearing tank top and shorts :)

Caramel Macchiato

September arrived along with my lovely big brother's Birthday, falling leaves, crisp apples, cooler days and hot drinks :) Oh, and I forgot - warmer clothes. I'm transitioning from my favorite iced caramel macchiato to hot drinks that keep  me feeling warm and cozy. And I just can't wait to see abundance of pumpkins in the markets :) I love fall.

Сентябрь. Ассоциации: День Рождения любимого брата, опадающие листья, яблоки, прохладные дни и горячие (не путать с горячительными) напитки :) Переключаюсь в Старбаксе с ледяного маккиато на горячий чай, чтобы не мёрзнуть. Ещё жду-не дождусь увидеть море тыкв на рынках и в магазинах :) Да, я люблю осень.

Fields of Gold

Today I wanted to share some of the pictures my boyfriend and I took one Sunday morning. We got up early, grabbed coffee and drove to these beautiful fields. Fields of gold. It was sunny but chilly. I was wearing Anthropologie jacket (I got it recently) which kept me warm :) I have to say I love the countryside! So beautiful and peaceful. You can tell by the pictures :)

Хочу поделиться фотографиями, которые мы сделали утром в воскресенье. Проснулись рано, взяли кофе и поехали в поля. Золотые, можно сказать, поля. Было солнечно, но прохладно. На мне была кофта, которую я недавно купила в Антрополоджи - Anthropologie (один из любимых магазинов). Мне очень нравятся поля, деревенские просторы, наверное потому, что я сама выросла в деревне. Так красиво и умиротворяюще. Это видно по фотографиям :)

Rainy Day

I woke up in the morning to the sound of rain... It was dark and cloudy but I love it. I always feel so calm and inspired when it's raining. Driving to school was a little slow though. On the way back I stopped on a country road and took some pictures. I wish I could stay longer and take more pictures but it was raining so I felt sorry for my camera :D Above are few of those pictures I was able to take. I got home and made some hot tea with lemon, got in the bed and was doing some homework.

A friend of mine got back from Italy recently and brought me this scarf from Florence, I'm loving it :)
