Color of the Night

Friday night started with a movie at home and a late night visit to the seafood restaurant. So casual and so relaxing. Bunny and I were sitting outside by the fountains which reminded us of Las Vegas and the Fountains of Bellagio, and all the great time and fun we had while in Las Vegas :)
This week I was informed by Antonia and Mani of Fashion Imperative that I've been featured in their Stylish Fashion Bloggers post. I must say I'm very flattered because the girls I've been featured with are absolutely amazing (not to mention beautiful and stylish). Thank you very much, Antonia and Mani! You are awesome :)
This weekend we were planning to go to the beach but it had to be cancelled due to the the weather, I'm sure most of you heard of the hurricane Irene. I'm hoping that it will not be as destructive as it's supposed to be.

Пятничный вечер начался просмотром фильма (дома) и походом в ресторан поздной ночью. Сидели с Банни за столиком на улице, рядом с фонтаном, что напомнило о нашей поездке в Лас Вегас и о красивых фотанах Белладжио, и вообще напомнило какая замечательная была поездка и как хочется туда ещё :)
Ещё на этой неделе мне сообщили о том, что один замечательный блог Fashion Imperative включил меня в список стильных блоггеров, что меня приятно удивило и очень порадовало. Спасибо, Antonia and Mani, за то, что включили меня в этот список :)
В эти выходные мы планировали ехать на пляж с друзьями, но поездку пришлось отменить из-за надвигающегося урагана. Я всё же надеюсь, что ураган будет не таким разрушетельным, каким его ожидают.

Strolling down the streets of DC

Hi loves! :) This past week has been so hectic, and I was out of the blogging world for a while. Still trying to put all the things and thoughts together after traveling which is harder than I thought.
This past weekend my friend Ksenia and two of her friends were in town so Bunny and I were like tour guides while showing Washington, DC. You know who you should be aware of in DC? Squirrels by the White House! Haha :) Those squirrels are the naughtiest things ever!

Hi guys! I hope you had a great weekend and ready to start new week :)
It was my Birthday on Friday and I woke up in the morning to find a wonderful surprise Bunny had for me - a lovely MacBook Pro! I LOVE, love, love it!!!  And since New York City is one of my most favorite places in the world I decided to spend weekend there :) I'll post more pictures in the next post, have a great week ahead! Lazy Afternoon

I love the idea of strolling down the streets of a town on a sunny lazy afternoon sipping iced caramel machiatto :) No need to rush, no worries, just enjoying the present moment. Have a lovely weekend, darlings!

Picnic by the Lake

Hello lovelies! :) The other day Bunny and I decided to have a picnic by the lake. It was late afternoon, the sun slowly was going down, and everything around was so quiet and still. It was a perfect timing to sit by the lake and enjoy the moment :) And I'm so glad I took the camera with us! (I was contemplating leaving it at home.)

Lazy Saturday

I'm being lazy today :) And it's OK since today is Saturday :) Any other day I would feel guilty for doing nothing but not today. I slept in, made hot chocolate, talked on the phone to my mom and sister-in-law. Then we had lunch with Bunny in our favorite Korean-Japanese restaurant which was DELICIOUS (yup, with capital letters!). I'm thinking of watching a movie. Or may be just reading a magazine. Have a great weekend everyone!

Я сегодня бездельничаю :) Сегодня можно бездельничать, потому как суббота, выходной :) В любой другой день меня бы мучали угрызения совести, а вот сегодня моя совесть спокойна. Я сегодня долго спала, потом приготовила какао, поговорила по телефону с мамой и женой брата. А потом мы ходили на ланч в корейско-японский ресторан, и еда была просто ОБъЕДЕНИЕМ (да, именно с большой буквы! твёрдый знак почему-то у меня не печатается с заглавной буквы). Думаю посмотреть какой-нибудь фильм. Или полистать журнал. В любом случае - всем удачных выходных!

Winter Forest

Hello-hello! I love waking up in the morning to find out that it was snowing during the night!!! When my brother and I were little, we always looked out the window in the morning to see if it was snowing :) I guess it's my habit from childhood :)

Isn't it interesting that I was painting winter forest 2 days ago, and here it is :)))))

Всем привет! Как же я люблю проснуться утром и видеть выпавший за ночь снег!!!
Когда мы с братом были маленькими, мы с нетерпением выглядывали по утрам в окно, посмотреть был ли снег :) Наверное, эта детская привычка до сих пор живёт во мне :)
Интересно то, что 2 дня назад я рисовала зимний лес, и вот - пожалуйста :)))

Fields of Gold

Today I wanted to share some of the pictures my boyfriend and I took one Sunday morning. We got up early, grabbed coffee and drove to these beautiful fields. Fields of gold. It was sunny but chilly. I was wearing Anthropologie jacket (I got it recently) which kept me warm :) I have to say I love the countryside! So beautiful and peaceful. You can tell by the pictures :)

Хочу поделиться фотографиями, которые мы сделали утром в воскресенье. Проснулись рано, взяли кофе и поехали в поля. Золотые, можно сказать, поля. Было солнечно, но прохладно. На мне была кофта, которую я недавно купила в Антрополоджи - Anthropologie (один из любимых магазинов). Мне очень нравятся поля, деревенские просторы, наверное потому, что я сама выросла в деревне. Так красиво и умиротворяюще. Это видно по фотографиям :)
